Hello Friends and Family!

Everything is still going here in Sasebo. Sorry for writing much last week, but we were super busy doing touristy things in Nagasaki on P-day. We went to all of the memorials and museum for the bombing of Nagasaki. It was very thought-provoking I guess is the way to put it. The Peace Park was way awesome. All in all it was a great day. The next day in Nagasaki we had Zone conference which was great. It was so weird seeing people from the next set of missionaries come in. I can't believe it is all going by so fast. They are so right when they say that the time we have to serve the Lord on a missionary is very short. So, I need to make sure I give it my all and don't waste any of this opportunity. Well, this week was good and bad on the investigator front. A couple of our investigators told us they don't have any interest in following through with following Jesus Christ. So, that was really tough to hear. So, right now we have very few investigators, but our housing lately has been very productive. The Lord is really blessing us. In a couple days we found 3 potential investigators. One of them is even coming to church next week. The Lord is really blessing our finding. So, we are kind of starting fresh but I don't think that is a bad thing. We are also planning on doing a lot of work with Japanese less-active members to try and revive the branch. They need some more energy and fire for the Gospel. And we are trying to help them regain it. So, right now those are our plans. Oh ya, I need to tell more about Elder McCall. He is Australian, 22 years-old (Almost 23 in October) and has been on his mission the same amount of time as Elder Devuyst. So he has been out for 10 transfers (60 weeks). We get along well and I am even teaching him a little guitar. We have been still playing guitar at the aquarium. I play guitar and he passes out flyers. We actually got in the mission newsletter about doing that haha. So, all in all, I'm still very much enjoying being here and meeting a lot of great people. Mostly, I am happy to be here doing the Lord's work. I hope all of you are doing great and enjoying life. Remember, when times are hard, just rely on your older brother Jesus Christ...He wants to help. Love you all so much.
