Hey friends and family!
I hope your week went well. Ours was good this week. We are still working as hard as we can to find new people to teach, but as of right now, we have no new people. But, we know this work isn't easy so we are continuing to work hard in searching for those people who are prepared to hear the truth. So, we are housing all the time. Other than that there were a couple of other things that happened this week that are really worth noting. One is on Saturday, the military branch had a BBQ at Saikai park. It was amazing. The weather was perfect (it rained everyday all week except for Saturday). The park was the most beautiful park I've been too, it was looking over the bay. Super awesome. And the food was great, but there was something even more awesome than that. Pretty much every family brought non-member friends. There were about 30 members and 30 non-members. They were such an awesome example of simple ways to be great member missionaries. It was a great day. Then on Sunday, I got to attend the baptism of an 8 year-old girl named Asiah Erikson from the military branch. It was such a beautiful thing to see. I felt the spirit so strong. It is so amazing to see someone enter through the gate of baptism on the path to living with their Heavenly Father once again. I want to help guide someone to enter into this gate. I know that baptism is the reason I am here. Because without leading someone toward baptism, how can they enter the gate. I won't baptism everyone I teach, but it is my responsibility to help them come closer to their savior, Jesus Christ, by leading them to the gate of baptism. I am really beginning to recognize the magnitude of importance that this work I am involved in really has. Lastly, this week, my study sessions were so powerful and spirit driven. I am so incredibly grateful for this time I have to learn about the gospel and share it with others. Well, Elder McCall is waiting to use the computer. So, I better get going. I love you all and hope that you will be safe and happy this week. Also, I hope that if you have been baptized, that you think back on that day and think of its importance. I know that you will feel the spirit. Love you all
