Hey Friends and Family!

Hope you are all donig well. This was a really fun week here in Kagoshima. One really fun thing was I went down to Sendai on Thursday to do a baptismal interview for 2 missionaries in the ditsrict. They had taught and prepared a 9 year-old girl for baptism. Her name was Sakichan. She is sooo cool. And soooo ready to be baptized. It has been a long time since I`ve been able to see the innocence of a child like that. It made me so happy. And she passed the interview with flying colors and will be getting baptized this week. I am so glad I was able to have that experience. Also, just an update on the teaching we have been doing. We were able to teach Katsuyuki kun this week, but he wasn`t able to come to church because of school. Sometimes they move school to Sundays here. Can you believe that? So that was really unfortunate, but we are hoping he will make it to church next week. Also, we picked up an former investigator from the Area Book named Kubosan. She loves the Bible and has way more knowledge of the Bible than I do. She has been studying with the missionaries for 7 years! Unfortunately, she doesn`t have a testimony of the BoM. I know that if she gets that testimony she will be able to overcome any of the fears she has of getting baptized. She really is a very Joseph Smith like person, but is still waiting on her answer from God. We are reading the BoM with her to try and help her obtain a testimony of it. Other than that we have been trying to visit a lot of church members, which has been very fun and rewarding. We are really starting to gain there trust. It has been so fun lately and we are really looking forward to this week. We have Zone Conference here in Kagoshima on Tuesday. Elder Choi from the Quorum of the 70 is coming to train us at Zone Conference. We are super excited for it. Also, I am currently sitting next to ELDER JORDAN my MTC companion! He is here for Zone Conference. He is serving on the island of Amami. A super tiny island off the coast of Japan. He took and 11 hour boat ride to get here! Also, this past week we had 2 huge ash storms. They look like brownish rain cloud when they are coming at you. It is pretty crazy. There is ash all over the city. I couldn`t believe it. Well, life is great here. I really appreciate the prayers and love coming from America. Thanks! I know the Lord Jesus Christ is our Redeemer. He loves you all! Stay safe and Happy! I will do the same.
