Hey Family and Friends!
This is Elder Stubbs here. Still going strong here in Nagasaki. We are really seeing a ton of blessings from the Lord. Well this week we have a few new investigators. One is named Maruyama san. He is the person that called randomly and said he wanted to learn more about Jesus Christ. We taught him on Wednesday after Eikaiwa. The Spirit was so strong as he talked about his desire to follow Jesus Christ. It was awesome. Also, our new investigator from last week named Sugasaki san came to church on Sunday. It was so great and we had a good lesson with him. He has no Christian background at all but is interested in learning and he said that when he comes to know that it is true, he will follow it. Awesome! Also, this week we did companionship exchanges two days in a row. On Thursday we went to Isahaya and worked there for a day then on Friday the Elders from Sasebo came to Nagasaki and we worked here. Another interesting thing that happened this week was the BYU Hawaii English Speech Contest. It is held in Japan and the winner gets to go to Hawaii to study for a while. They had one of the preliminary competitions in Isahaya on Saturday. They were all High School students and a few of them were really good. Another cool thing is I was able to see a bunch of church members from Sasebo. It was way fun to talk about old times from Sasebo. I can`t believe I left Sasebo almost 9 months ago! Well I am really loving the work right now. This is one of the happiest points of my mission. Having lots of opportunities to teach and we are being so blessed by the Lord. I am so grateful to Him and know that this is His work! I hope everyone is healthy and happy back home. And also good luck with everything! Football, School, and work. Keep it up!
Love you all
