Hey Friends and Family!
I hope your week was great. It was a fun one here in Nagasaki! A highlight of this week was getting to go back to Sasebo to do a companion exchange. I was able to see Sister Watanabe!!! She was so genki. She has now finished reading the whole Book of Mormon. And she told me in English that she would "Keep the Commandments and walk in the right path" It was soo awesome. She is so strong. I just feel so grateful to Heavenly Father for giving me the opportunity to teach her. Also, that same day I was able to see Brother Nakagawauchi (he is blind and almost deaf) and the Small family. It was such a fun trip. I feel so blessed to have been able to serve in Sasebo for 6 months. And I`m so blessed right now to be able to serve in Nagasaki. The work is going amazing. We are seeing miracles everyday. Katayama san is doing really great. He is accepting the gospel readily, but is still food and jobless. He is in an incredibly difficult situation. I have never really had to deal with this kind of situation in my life. I am learning so much. I am really learning tons about charity and how much love God and Jesus Christ have and how much love we need to have. I know the Lord loves all of His children! That is such a incredible message we can send to the world. A true belief in that statement definitely leads to action. If we love God we will show love to all of His children. This week we had a lot of little miracles. For example. we bumped into Daisuke this week. We haven`t been able to talk to or see him for the last 5 weeks, then while we were passing out English Class flyers he came by. It was such a miracle. Then he came to church! We should be able to start meeting with him again. The Lord really makes things move in this work. With the Lord`s help the work will not stop moving. If we have faith in Him, he invites us to work with Him. Not do His work, but work with Him. What an incredible opportunity! I love you all so much and hope you have a great week!
