Hello Friends and Family!

How are you all!? We are doing well as usual here, but we have some bad news. Well only kind of bad. Katayama san did not get baptized on Saturday like we had planned. Since he is living with his brother and his brother pays the electric bill and water bill and things the branch president wanted him to get permission to be baptized from his brother. But, since his brother and him have a terrible relationship he doesn't want to tell his brother. So, the other option the branch president gave is to be financially independant then get baptized. So, katayama san decided it would be best if he just found a job first and then got baptized. We were really bummed about it, but now we feel that since he's in this situation he can use it to build his faith. We fasted with him to help him find a job. I think that without God's help it will be almost impossible to find a job in Nagasaki. So it is so awesome that he is showing faith in God. I know that Heavenly Father will make it possible for him to find a job. The Lord can do anything and we are trusting in Him. So please pray for katayama san so that he can find a job and receive baptism! He really wants to be baptized but is just in a terrible situation. But, the good news is he wants to overcome it and still be baptized. Other than that tough situation, it was a great week. On Sunday, we got to meet with a man named Takahira san. He was an investigator about 15 years ago. We heard about him through our Ward Mission leader who remembered him from a long time ago. We went over to his house on Sunday night and he made us dinner and we had dinner with him, his wife, his son, his wife, and their baby. It was such a fun night. We played guitar with them and played uno and ate Nagasaki Chanpon. It was soo yummy. Hanging out with them as a big family was so good. And since we love their family so much it will be so easy to share the gospel with them. We are really excited about that family. Well I am definitely jealous that all of you were able to see General Conference this week. We watch it next week. I'm super excited. General Conference while on a mission is like the Super Bowl. We talk about what we predict will happen and what intense talk Elder Bednar or Holland will give. Mission life is so fun. I love you all so much and am super happy that you are all happy! p.s. the weather has cooled down and we had an INTENSE thunderstorm yesterday. Thunder and lightning are way rare in Japan. Mostly just rain
