Hey Family and Friends!

I`m sure your week was great! Ours was good here too. We had Zone Conference this week on Thursday. It was way good. Super spiritual. I feel like everyone had something really personal they learned from the spirit to take home with them. At Conference we talked about bringing our brothers and sisters back home. We talked about what home is to us and what makes Heaven the best home. It is the place we want to bring ALL of our brothers and sisters back to. Our focus was on inviting everyone back home. The way back home starts with baptism. So, we are going to start inviting people back home quicker than we have been doing before. Sometimes talking to people and inviting them to be baptized on the streets! It is such a great focus to invite our brothers and sisters back home. Usually lost brothers and sisters don`t just wander back home. They need to be invited and shown the way. Well, one of our brothers that is about to start his way back home, Katayama san, is doing very well. He is definitely ready to be baptized on next Saturday. His physical situation is still the same, but he still has faith. He is a strong individual. He sincerely wants to follow Jesus Christ and we are so excited for him. Also, he asked me to perform the baptism. I am way honored to do it. This experience with him has really been special. When we met him one day this week, he looked completely different. His countenance had changed. I know it is because he is really beginning to love God and Jesus Christ. If you do those things, no matter what situation you are in you can be happy(元気) ! We had 2 other cool finding experiences this week. We went out at night to go and talk to people on the street for about an hour. Then we came to this one stoplight and I saw a guy on the other side of the street. Both Elder Martinez and I knew we should talk to him. So we waited for him to cross the street and we said hello. We found out that just recently he decided that he wanted to learn about Jesus Christ and had been visiting a local church to learn anything he can. We taught him about baptism and prayed with him. We will be meeting with him again this week. He is a great kid. I know that the Lord led us to him that night. Also, last night we went housing and every single person rejected us really hard. Then, we came to one apartment and met a Mom and her 6 children. She takes care of all of them by herself. They were so nice and willing to meet us again. I just know how much more happy they can be through Jesus Christ. I really love finding those choice children of God. I feel like we have found of our lost brothers and sisters. It is truly a time to rejoice. I love it so much. Thanks everyone for listening to my experiences. I love you all so much. Make sure you keep praying for your own missionary experiences. The Lord will provide them. Have a great and safe week!
