Hey Friends and Family!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope you have all had a great Holiday season. It has been awesome here. We did tons of really fun things! Also, we saw many amazing miracles! The biggest is that Colby Carson was baptized on January 1st 2011! It was so great. We did it at the beach even though it was only 50 degrees outside. The ocean was a little rough, but the baptismal service was amazing. He has such a strong testimony of the gospel and loves to share it with people. He was confirmed yesterday and was soo happy all day. I will send the pictures of the baptism soon. I really know that the Lord is preparing people for us to meet and share the Gospel with. Colby always said that " about 2 months, I would have told you Mormon missionaries to get out and go home. " But through the Lord's preparation, his heart was softened and he accepted the Gospel with open arms. The Gospel is true! Also, lately, we have been working with Nakao san and he is doing very well. He is preparing to be baptized on the 15th and is currently quitting smoking. Please pray for him to be able to quit smoking. I feel so blessed to have been able to see his faith grow as much as it has. When I came he told me he doesn't believe in God or Jesus Christ. Now, he says he believes in God and Jesus Christ and is doing his best to show trust in them and keep the Commandments. He has truly experienced a change of heart. I love him so much. The Lord is blessing us so much with miracles. We are just trying to do our best as missionaries to purify ourselves and be better tools in the hand of the Lord. Well, on a different note, Christmas and New years were really fun! The members are so kind and made sure to help us feel at home for Christmas. I will say that I missed you all, but I know that this is were I must be. I know that I have been called to this specific place for a reason. I have found out some of the reasons and there are a few more waiting to be found. I'm so excited to give the Lord my all for these next 5 months! It's going to be the best. I love you all so much and appreciate everything you do for me! Keep praying for missionary opportunities. They will come!

Love
Stubbs Choro
