Hey Friends and Family!
I hope everyone is doing great back home. Things are going awesome here. We have some exciting news about Watanabesan. We taught a lesson her on Tuesday. At the end of the lesson we committed her to be baptized! Her baptismal date is for January 9th. This is the first time for me on the mission. She is so awesome. She has great faith is so teachable it is incredible. Also, she is super sensitive to the spirit. The spirit was there so strong during the lesson. Unfortuantely, she has one difficult thing we are going to need to overcome. She currently works every Sunday during the time of the Japanese branch. Also, at this point, she doesn't think she can get her boss to allow her to switch shifts. But, this week she was able to come to the American branch in the morning and we taught her. We basically told her that we want her to be able to always have the blessings that come from taking the sacrament. So, we pretty much decided that she needs to either change her work schedule or find a new job. It will take a lot of Faith to change her job. But, I know that if she does it, the Lord will provide a way for her to get a new job. I know that it true. As long as we exercise enough faith, the lord will provide a way for all of our needs to be met. I am willing to go searching for a job for her if I need to. I know baptism blesses us in this life and after this life. Those blessings are incomparable to anything found outside of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the promise in 1 Nephi 3:7 is true. The Lord will not give a commandment unless He provides a way to obey it. So, I ask that you will remember Watanabesan in your prayers. I know that the power of prayer is real and that her problem can be overcome and she will receive baptism. So that was super exciting this week. Also, we had Zone conference this week. It was a Christmas theme and was so great. All of the training was awesome. Also, this week Judy agreed to start hearing the lessons again! I'm so glad she is back on track towards Christ. Well, this week sure was an exciting one and it is really starting to get chilly here. Pray for missionary opportunities and don't forget to share the thing that leads to the most happiness, the gospel! What an awesome way to show the Christmas spirit by spreading the Good news of the Gospel! I love you all so much and hope that you can aways recognize the Lord's hand in your lives.
