Hey Friends and Family!

How is everyone? It`s awesome here in Nagasaki. We had some great experiences this week. We did companion exchanges in Saga on Tuesday. That was really fun. They have an investigator that has overcome so much and is going to be baptized this week! His family was/kind of still is very against him joining the church. But through the power of prayer, the Lord softened the hearts of his parents and gave him permission to be baptized. One crazy thing happened on the way back from Saga. The rain was coming down so hard that the trains weren`t running. We waited an extra 2 hours for the train. Then when we got on the train, the train ride ended up taking 6 hours instead of 1.5 hours. It was ridiculous. The train kept stopping. But we were able to talk a ton to this really nice family from Taiwan that was visiting Japan. Well, to update on David, he came to church yesterday!!!　His boss gave him Sunday afternoon off! He will be baptized on the 1st of August! Also, the sister missionaries in our area have an investigator getting baptized on the same day. Double Baptisms! Two people entering the Kingdom on the same day! I`m sooo excited. David told us the other day that he was the happiest he had been in so long. He is truly feeling the joys of the gospel. He is one of my favorite people. He relies on the Lord. He has ridiculously huge faith. And he is happy. Just plain happy. I love to see the joy the Lord gives those that show Him they want the joy. We show that through our obedience. The Lord gave us the scriptures and prophets for many reasons. But one of them is so that we know how to receive blessings. Keep a commandment, get a blessing. It is so simple and I love it. I love you all so much. I hope you are seeing the Lord`s hands in your everyday lives. He loves you and wants to help so much. Stay safe and happy!
