Hey Friends and Family!
I hope you are doing good. I send you good tidings from mainland Japan hahaha. Yep, I transferred off of Okinawa last Thursday. I am now in Fukuoka city. It is a place I have always wanted to work. The big city. It was really hard to leave Okinawa. It was such and awesome place and I made a lot of way good friends! But, I know there are 2 awesome Elders there that will help those guys so much. I had an awesome time there and learned a ton of things. Now, I'm excited to work here in Fukuoka with my companion Elder Carter. He has been in this area for 5 transfers already! Wow. He knows everything about this area. And since his mission will end in about 5 weeks, I have got to learn everything way fast! I am super excited to work really hard in this area. There is a ton of potential here in this area and there are around 150 members. Can you believe it? The church is huge here in this city. Also, I am blessed enough to be working really close with all the people in the mission office which is really fun. We have an investigator here with a baptismal date for the 12th of February. We really ask you for prayers for Lee. He is Korean and a really awesome guy. I haven't met him yet but I know that he could use the prayers to help strengthen his faith. I am so happy I get to experience the things I have and that the Lord provides me opportunities to grow and learn at every turn. I'm sure I had them all the time before but I didn't recognize them. The Lord has so much in store for us. He has the perfect life for us. But, that life won't be all rainbows and butterflies. There will be thorns and rainclouds, but it will be the perfect thorn or rainclouds to fix us and make us better. The perfect life is the one that has the perfect end. The Lord can put us through any bad thing ever, pain, suffering, death, and we can still trust Him and follow Him to the end knowing that He is our savior and He will make it all right in the end. I know that Christ lives and He loves us so much. He encourages everyone to share that wonderful message. I love you a ton!
